Cambridge Savings Bank will consolidate a pair of back offices in Cambridge and Arlington at a newly renovated property owned by Hobbs Brook Management in Waltham.

The bank leased 76,000 square feet at 81 Wyman St. with plans to open a new operations center. The headquarters will remain at 1374 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge.

Waltham-based Hobbs Brook Management acquired 81 Wyman St. in 2015 from Thermo Fisher Scientific for $16.2 million. Thermo Fisher moved to 168 Third Ave. in Waltham in 2016.

Hobbs Brook repositioned the 3-story, 80,000-square-foot building following Thermo Fisher’s departure by adding a new facade and updating building systems.

Cambridge Savings Bank has retained Cambridge-based architects SMMA to design its new workspaces with a goal of attaining WELL building certification, which rates properties based upon their ability to support the health and wellness of occupants. Planned amenities include a fitness center, yoga studio and patio.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Brian Hines, Ryan Romano and Peter Joseph represented Cambridge Savings in the lease transaction. Wyman Street Advisors’ Chip Bachelder represented ownership.
