A data firm that works with life science companies is relocating from Charlestown’s Hood Park to The Davis Cos.’ 309,000-square-foot One Cabot office property in Medford.

ERT signed a 10-year lease for 41,000 square feet with plans for a January 2021 move-in, joining tenants including Amazon, iHeartMedia and Global Contact Services.

The 4-story building was acquired by The Davis Cos. in 2015 and features 77,000-square-foot floor plates, a 10,000-square-foot patio, fire pits and outdoor gaming areas. Owners recently renovated the fitness center and are updating the lobby with a new coffee bar and lounge areas.

In a statement, ERT Global Facility Director said the company was attracted by the building’s proximity to the MBTA’s Wellington station and amenities.

Newmark Knight Frank’s Debra Gould, Rory Walsh and Juliette Reiter represented The Davis Cos. in the lease transaction, while ERT was represented by Cresa’s Jeff Baker and Matt George.
