Commercial Brokers Association

The Commercial Brokers Association recently held its 2017 Charity Softball Tournament at Moakley Park in South Boston, which raised $10,000 for Team IMPACT. JLL was the winning team. Other participating firms included Avison Young, CBRE New England, Colliers, Commodore Builders, Cube 3 Studios, J. Calnan & Assoc., NAI Hunneman, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, Transwestern and Vantage Builders.

 

East Cambridge Savings Bank

East Cambridge Savings Bank donated $10,000 to the city of Medford to support the Medford Summer Recreation Program. The program provides activities, sports clinics and classes for Medford children, families and seniors during the summer months.

 

Leominster Credit Union

Leominster Credit Union sponsored two finalists of the 2017 Cooperative Credit Union Association Student Essay Contest, Mia Houle and Alyssa LeBlanc, both of Clinton Middle School. Houle and LeBlanc were two of eight top essay finalists who received an award and $250.

 

MutualOne Bank

MutualOne Bank announced a $5,000 foundation grant to the Amazing Things Art Center in Framingham. The award will support the efforts of Amazing Things to expand, improve and publicize its three visual arts galleries.

 

Partners Insurance

Partners Insurance Group LLC donated $1,000 to the Swansea Ambulance Corps on the occasion of #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media.

 

UniBank

UniBank awarded a total of $46,000 in scholarships to 23 class of 2017 graduates from local high schools in the towns of Blackstone, Douglas, Grafton, Hopedale, Hopkinton, Milford, Shrewsbury, Sutton, Upton, Uxbridge, Whitinsville and Worcester.
