BankFive has donated $5,000 to Sons of Italy-Fall River for its student scholarship fund. Sons of Italy-Fall River provides at least four $1,000 scholarships each year to high school and college students to help finance their tuition at higher education institutions.

Commerce Bank donated $5,000 in sponsorship of the 2017 Albanian Festival at St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church in Worcester.

The Cooperative Credit Union Association recently held its 2017 Student Essay Contest, awarding $250 to the grand prize winner, Kunsopheary Kang.

 

Dedham Institution for Savings

Dedham Institution for Savings Foundation is donating $30,000 (in two installments of $15,000) to the South Boston Branch Library to help fund capital improvements of the library’s courtyard/garden space.

 

MutualOne

MutualOne distributed a $5,000 grant to Read to a Child, a lunchtime reading program at the Woodrow Wilson and Brophy elementary schools in Framingham. The program pairs high-risk students in grades one through four with adult volunteer mentors from a number of local companies and community organizations for weekly read-aloud sessions at the two schools.

 

North Brookfield Savings Bank

North Brookfield Savings Bank raised a total of over $2,100 for the Feed a Camper at Camp Putnam fundraiser.

 

Rodman CPAs

For the third consecutive year, Waltham-based Rodman CPAs has helped clean up the grounds of Camp Clark, an Old Colony YMCA sponsored recreation camp in Plymouth, in preparation for its summer camp youth.
