BayCoast Bank

Fall River-based BayCoast Bank pledged $100,000 over a three-year period to the Westport Land Conservation Trust for Phase 2 of the St. Vincent de Paul Project in Westport, an effort to revamp an 82-acre former Catholic Church property into public open space. This marks the second pledge of $100,000 made by the bank for a total contribution of $200,000.

MutualOne Bank

Framingham-based MutualOne Bank awarded $5,000 to the Amazing Things Arts Center. The grant will support a new creative learning program for local artists and individuals interested in learning new skills and developing their creativity.

Newburyport Bank

Newburyport Bank donated $1,100 to the Sgt. Jordan M. Shay Memorial Foundation’s 10th annual bowling tournament. The foundation was established to honor the last wishes of Sgt. Jordan M. Shay, a 2005 graduate of Amesbury High School, and a member of the U.S. Army who was killed in Iraq during his second deployment. The bank also donated $750 to the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce in support of its “Toast to the Coast” fundraising event.

The Provident Bank

Amesbury-based The Provident Bank donated $10,000 toward the construction of a new playground at Triton School District’s Salisbury Elementary School.
