Fall River-based BankFive granted $50,000 to be paid over two years to the Fall River Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall.

City Realty
City Kids, a youth education nonprofit program developed by Boston-based City Realty, donated 15 laptops to The BASE in Roxbury. The BASE combines baseball and softball training and competition with academic and career resources to empower student-athletes to achieve their full potential both on and off the field.

Cornerstone Bank
Worcester-based Cornerstone Bank donated $2,500 to the Massachusetts Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association. The association provides material and training to a statewide network of volunteer court appointed special advocates who support the best interests of abused or neglected children in the juvenile court system. The funds donated will be used to support the association’s annual conference, where CASA volunteers throughout the commonwealth are trained.

Leominster Credit Union
Leominster Credit Union recently presented the March of Dimes of Central Massachusetts with a check for $815; the funds are the proceeds of LCU employees’ April Jeans Day contributions.

Newburyport Bank
Newburyport Bank donated $1,000 in support of the 14th Annual Yankee Homecoming Striper Tournament. Proceeds will benefit the 2019 Yankee Homecoming fireworks display, which takes place in August.

North Brookfield Savings Bank
North Brookfield Savings Bank recently made a $1,195 donation towards tuition costs for Ware High School students enrolled in an introduction to firefighting and EMS training program. The bank also recently donated $500 to the Ware Senior Center toward the purchase of a new onsite emergency defibrillator.

North Shore Bank
Peabody-based North Shore Bank recently donated $1,600 to Citizen Inn Haven from Hunger. The proceeds, raised by bank employees as part April’s Jeans Day program, will support the organization’s food pantry and community meal efforts.

Turner Construction
Employees in Turner Construction Co.’s offices around the world celebrated the company’s 117th anniversary by donating their time to their local communities. In Massachusetts more than 200 Turner volunteers donated their time and energy at 15 different organizations over the course of five weeks. As part of their volunteer efforts, Turner employees participated in a variety of activities including building a backyard tree house, preparing and serving meals, organizing toy and donation drives, and other cleaning and renovation projects.
