Baystate Financial raised $300,000 at its 20th Annual Baystate Foundation Charity Golf Classic held at The International Golf Club in Bolton on June 11.

HarborOne Bank

Brockton-based HarborOne Bank awarded two prizes totaling $15,000 to two small business entrepreneurs as part of its fourth annual Small Business “Pitch Contest,” hosted by HarborOne U.

MutualOne Bank

The Performing Arts Center of MetroWest will again offer a summer musical theater program, thanks in part to a recent $2,500 grant from MutualOne Bank’s Charitable Foundation.

NEI General Contracting

Boston-based NEI General Contracting donated $5,000 to host an Emergency Aid Hero event to benefit the Brockton office of the state Department of Children and Families. This donation was used to purchase clothing and age-appropriate comfort items, which were then sorted by size and gender by NEI employees to create kits for foster children transitioning into the system.

North Brookfield Savings Bank

North Brookfield Savings Bank awarded $10,000 in scholarships to nine local high school students.

North Shore Bank

Peabody-based North Shore Bank donated $1,500 to Operation Troop Support in Danvers, money raised by individual bank staffers as part of its monthly “jeans day” program. Operation Troop Support distributes care packages to deployed military members overseas and coordinates support groups for military families.

Quincy Credit Union

Quincy Credit Union sponsored the first-ever South Shore Build A Bed event. A Bed for Every Child project is an initiative of the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless that provides children growing up in poverty with a bed of their own. As part of the collaboration, teams were formed from QCU board members and employees, their family members, Quincy Police and Quincy Fire Fighters, North Quincy High ROTC, Girls Scouts, Boy Scouts and church groups. Volunteers worked in the QCU parking lot to assemble close to 50 beds for children in the Quincy community.

Savings Bank Life Insurance

Woburn-based SBLI donated $32,000 to the American Diabetes Association to support its mission to prevent and cure diabetes and improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

Sherin and Lodgen

Boston-based law firm Sherin and Lodgen volunteered with Triangle Inc. to host 13 students and young adults for a mock interview and resume review workshop. Triangle Inc. is a nonprofit organization that empowers transition-age youth and adults with disabilities to meet their personal and professional goals and ultimately achieve independence.

Timberline Construction

A team from Timberline Construction, headquartered in Canton, volunteered at the South Shore Habitat for Humanity home build in Duxbury.
