Bank of America

Bank of America donated $50,000 to job training and youth development program More than Words, based in Boston’s South End, to support the organization’s work in the Greater Boston area.

Connolly Brothers and GraVoc

Beverly-based general contractor Connolly Brothers and Peabody-based technology consultant GraVoc Associates teamed up last month to sponsor a “Build A Bed” event. A Bed for Every Child provides beds for children living in poverty. The program has delivered more than 7,000 beds since it was founded in 2012.

Country Bank

Ware-based Country Bank donated $25,000 to YWCA Central Massachusetts to support the organization’s $7.5 million capital campaign. The donation will help with building improvements to allow the YWCA to meet the expanding needs of the Worcester community at its 1 Salem Square location.

Bridgewater Savings Bank

Raynham-based Bridgewater Savings Bank’s charitable foundation donated $6,000 to the Old Colony YMCA’s annual support campaign. The bank also donated $2,500 to Pro-Home Inc., a down payment assistance nonprofit based in Taunton.

MutualOne Bank

Framingham-based MutualOne Bank’s charitable foundation donated $5,000 to support the expansion of Read to a Child, a lunchtime reading program for kindergartners at the Brophy Elementary School in Framingham. The bank also awarded a $5,000 grant to OUT MetroWest in support of the organization’s drop-in program in Framingham for LGBTQ youth.
