HarborOne Bank donated $10,000 to community nonprofit organizations throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and led food donation drives at numerous branches throughout the region over the past month as part of the bank’s Harvest for Hunger program.

Arbella Insurance Group

Arbella Insurance Group employees raised $40,000 to donate to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute on behalf of the Arbella Insurance Foundation. The money will provide cancer screenings and education for medically underserved populations.

Bay State Savings Bank

Bay State Savings Bank will host its second Annual “Shop for a Cause” event to benefit the Telegram & Gazette Santa Fund, which raises money to help buy toys for children in need in Central Massachusetts.

Berkshire Bank

Berkshire Bank has launched its fourth annual “Season of Giving” campaign in which employees will complete community service projects throughout the cities and towns served by Berkshire Bank.

Bristol County Savings Bank

Bristol County Savings Bank through its Bristol County Savings Charitable Foundation recently presented a $75,000 grant to Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School located in Taunton to help support the construction of its Early Childhood Development Center. The grant will be awarded in three yearly installments of $25,000.

Franklin Realty Advisors and Great Point Investors

Franklin Realty Advisors and Great Point Investors will hold a toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots at a tree-lighting ceremony on Dec. 9.

Naveo Credit Union collected non-perishables during the month of November to benefit the Somerville Homeless Coalition.

North Brookfield Savings Bank

North Brookfield Savings Bank recently donated $500 to Top Floor Learning in Palmer, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing adult education throughout 24 towns in Central Massachusetts.

North Brookfield Savings Bank also awarded a $100 gift certificate to Ware resident Frances Hackett-Catania as the winner of the bank’s “Where It’s At” Hat Contest.

North Shore Bank

North Shore Bank branches will be collecting new, unwrapped holiday gifts through Dec. 16 to benefit the families in residence at two local shelters, The Inn Between and Inn Transition Shelters, operated by Citizens for Adequate Housing.

Salem Five Bank

Salem Five Bank’s senior vice president and bank customers traveled on a volunteer trip to the Be Like Brit orphanage in Grand Goave, Haiti, this fall to build a home for an orphanage caretaker with materials that were funded by Salem Five Bank.

The Savings Bank

The YWCA of Greater Lawrence has received a grant from The Donald E. Garrant Foundation of The Savings Bank to provide support to the YWCA Fina House Budget Buddies Program.
