The CCIAOR distributed $7,500 in grants from the Massachusetts Association of Realtors’ foundation to five area housing nonprofits: transitional housing provider Belonging to Each Other ($1,500), rental aid provider Assist Nantucket ($1,500), sober housing provider Champ Homes ($,1500), The Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Center ($1,500) and hospice housing provider The Lily House ($1,500).

Cummings Properties

Cummings Properties gave $25 million to 140 local nonprofits through its Cummings $25 Million Grant Program. Each nonprofit will receive $100,000 to $500,000 from the company’s foundation, which has awarded more than $300 million to Greater Boston charities to date. Recipient organizations are based in and serve Middlesex, Suffolk, and Essex counties and largely represent causes related to social justice, human services, education and healthcare.

DCU

Digital Federal Credit Union sponsored Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s virtual Touch Tomorrow festival, which runs from June 6 to June 12. The nine-year-old annual event typically offers hands-on experiments and demonstrations, lab tours and excitement for area youth.

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union

Lowell-based Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union raised over $95,000 for local charities during its 11th annual fundraiser for its We Share A Common Thread Foundation. The foundation helps support the lives of people in the credit union’s service area by assisting with food, shelter, clothing, health, and education.
