Hanscom Federal Credit Union

Hanscom Federal Credit Union employees trekked 2,519 miles during its Relay Step Challenge, part of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. The money raised by employees as part of the event, combined with a matching gift from the credit union, totaled over $5,000.

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union

Lowell-based Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union gave four separate $250 gifts to “hometown heroes” through its Small Acts That Give Back initiative. Recipients were honored for their work making masks for community members during the COVID-19 pandemic, cleaning over 45,000 pounds of trash from Lowell streets, collecting and distributing blankets, gloves, socks and hats to area residents in need and running weekly food drives to benefit their local food pantry.

Monson Savings Bank

Monson Savings Bank gave $2,050 to East Longmeadow to help fund its Independence Day festivities. The bank also awarded $28,000 in scholarships to 14 graduating seniors from local high schools.

MutualOne Bank

Framingham-based MutualOne Bank gave $5,000 to Programs for People Inc., an organization founded to help those who are experiencing serious mental health challenges to engage more successfully in all aspects of life.

North Easton Savings Bank

North Easton Savings Bank donated $30,000 to several Southeastern Massachusetts food pantries. The gift comes on top of the $60,000 it donated to the same organizations last year.

People’s United Bank

People’s United Bank gave $25,000 to the Monserrat College of Art in Beverly to upgrade its campus wireless internet infrastructure.
