Medway-based Charles River Bank gave $1,000 to the Medway Christmas Parade Committee.

Country Bank

Ware-based Country Bank gave $10,000 to the Ride to Remember, a 100-mile bicycle ride from Springfield to Worcester and back in tribute to fallen police officers and firefighters.

KeyBank

KeyBank has sponsored JumpStart’s 16th annual Read for the Record literacy campaign by providing more than 600 copies of this year’s book selection, “Amy Wu and the Patchwork Dragon,” to young children living in 17 affordable housing communities in the bank’s Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania markets.

Massachusetts Building Trades Council

The Massachusetts Building Trades Council raised nearly $40,000 for the Helmets to Hardhats program at a ceremony in advance of Veterans Day. The program connects National Guard, Reserve and active-duty military members in the process of leaving the armed forces with careers in the union building trades. The program has placed 1,049 military veterans in union construction jobs statewide since 2007.
