East Cambridge Savings Bank

East Cambridge Savings Bank announced its foundation had awarded grants to 16 local nonprofits focused on helping low- and moderate-income people in the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act communities. The bank did not specify the dollar amounts given.

Monson Savings Bank

Monson Savings Bank announced its staff gave $8,800 to a range of local nonprofits during 2021 via the bank’s Team Giving Initiative Friday program. Through this program, bank employees elect to donate $5 out of each of their paychecks to a charity they chose.

Rockland Trust Co.

Hanover-based Rockland Trust Co.’s foundation gave $25,000 to American Consumer Credit Counseling Inc., a Newton-based nonprofit credit counseling provider.

Wayne J. Griffin Electric Inc.

Employees at Holliston-based electrical subcontractor Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc. teamed up with the Holliston Pantry Shelf and purchased holiday gifts after “adopting” families in needas part of its annual Mitten project. Employees also donated over $7,500 to further support the Pantry Shelf, a food pantry serving the Holliston area.
