Bluestone Bank 

Bluestone Bank announced that it has donated $400,000 to local nonprofit organizations this year through its charitable foundation.

City Realty Group Managing Partners Fred Starikov and Stephen Whalen visited the AME Zion Church in Boston, part of Boston-based CRG’s yearly tradition of donating turkeys and pies to help those in need.  

Cornerstone Bank 

Worcester-based Cornerstone Bank has committed $100,000 in funding to a new home heating assistance loan program designed for households who have been hit the hardest due to rising inflation. 

Country Bank 

Ware-based Country Bank has launched its annual Season of Difference campaign, during which the bank has pledged 28 days of making a difference in the communities they serve. The bank’s team members will deliver $80,000 in donations to local food pantries, as well as $5,000 each to the Friends of the Homeless, Salvation Army and the USO. 

The Iron Workers Local 7 Retiree Association 

The Iron Workers Local 7 Retiree Association donated more than $8,000 to the Boston Higashi School for Autistic Children. Local 7 members raised the funds during the union’s 18th Annual Golf Tournament last month. 

Leominster Credit Union 

Leominster Credit Union’s Fall Shred-a-Thon raised $555 for Habitat for Humanity, North Central Mass. 

Monson Savings Bank 

Monson Savings Bank’s nomination helped Springfield-based MLK, Jr. Family Services secure a $5,000 donation from the Massachusetts Bankers Association.  

NeighborWorks Housing Solutions 

NeighborWorks Housing Solutions raised more than $300,000 – and more than $100,000 over its anticipated goal – during its recent “Opening Doors, Changing Lives” Gala, held at Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy on Thursday, Nov. 3. 

The Village Bank 

Newton-based The Village Bank of $5,000 to Studio for High-Performance Design & Co., a classroom and educational center for sustainable design and construction.

West Shore 

Steven P. Rosenthal, chairman of real estate investment firm West Shore, has pledged $1 million to disability-services nonprofit Northeast Arc in support of its Changing Lives Fund.
