Multifamily developer Greystar, the largest developer in Everett’s Commercial Triangle neighborhood, gave $25,000 to the city’s summer jobs program. The company also committed to repeat the donation annually for the next five years.

Leominster Credit Union

Leominster Credit Union kicked off Financial Literacy month by presenting a check for $3,000 to Fitchburg High School to award three $1,000 student scholarships.

Newburyport Bank

Newburyport Bank gave $2,500 to the Women’s Business League in support of their Second Annual Women’s Networking Summit.

North Brookfield Savings Bank 

North Brookfield Savings Bank collected $482 in community donations, along with what the bank said were “hundreds of donations of ‘in-need’ items” for Worcester’s Be Like Brit Foundation. The foundation supports an orphanage in Haiti.

Rockland Trust Co.

Hannover-based Rockland Trust Co. provided a $10,000 donation, through its foundation, to Signature Health to support patient transportation. The South Shore hospital system is facing increased patient transportation needs after a massive fire shuttered Brockton Hospital in February.
