Brookline-based Chestnut Hill Realty celebrated the opening of its new, 127-unit John Adams apartment building in Brookline’s Hancock Village with a $100,000 donation to the Brookline Teen Center. The Teen Center provides Brookline youth with a safe place to spend out-of-school time engaging in both formal and informal activities centered around academic enrichment, physical activity and socio-economic health.

Hanscom FCU

Hanscom Federal Credit Union awarded seven graduating high school seniors – five credit union members and two students from local US Air Force Junior ROTC units – with scholarships of $1,500 each to assist with college expenses. The scholarship recipients were announced at the credit union’s 69th Annual Meeting on May 3.

Naveo Credit Union

Somerville-based Naveo Credit Union awarded four scholarships totaling $7,500 to Somerville students during its annual meeting and member appreciation event on April 12. Scholarship recipients were anonymously selected based on factors including financial need, scholastic merit as well as community and school involvement.

Newburyport Bank 

Newburyport Bank has donated $2,500 to disability advocacy and service nonprofit The Arc of Greater Haverhill-Newburyport in support of its 61st Annual Candlelight Ball.
