Bristol County Savings Bank
Bristol County Savings Bank gave a $10,000 grant to fellow Taunton-based organization South Eastern Economic Development (SEED) Corp. The grant went toward SEED’s SBA Micro Lending Program which provides loans up to $50,000 to startups or small businesses whose owners are often unable to access capital at banks due to challenges with credit scores, time in business, insufficient collateral or a weak financial position.
Centeral One Federal Credit Union
Shrewsbury’s Centeral One Federal Credit Union donated $1,500 to the Northborough Lions Club to support the group’s mission of aiding youth groups and those in need of food, hearing aids and eyeglasses.
City Realty Group
Boston-based developer City Realty Group gave $5,000 through its City Kids foundation to Steps to Success, to support the nonprofit’s elementary and middle school programs.
Country Bank
Country Bank, based in Ware, gave $42,000 to 21 area senior centers.
Monson Savings Bank
Monson Savings Bank gave $7,000 to the City of Bright Nights Ball, the Spirit of Springfield’s largest annual fundraiser.
Newburyport Bank
Newburyport Bank donated $1,000 to the Amesbury All Sports Booster Program. The donation will be used to offset the costs of user fees.
The bank also gave $5,000 to sponsor An Evening With Exeter’s Chefs, set to take place at Exeter, New Hampshire’s town hall on Dec. 5 to raise funds for the Exeter Area Scholarship Fund, and another $5,000 to the Seacoast Arts and Cultural Alliance to support a new podcast discussing barriers to eviction prevention and recovery in New Hampshire’s Seacoast region.
Peabody Properties
Peabody Properties, a Braintree-based real estate and property management firm, sponsored the Bedford VA Medical Center’s annual VASH retreat for the program’s case managers and support staff.
Webster Five
Auburn-based bank Webster Five gave $25,000 to the Worcester Community Action Council’s Emergency Fuel Fund in advance of winter’s coldest months.
