Fall River-based BankFive donated $5,000 to the United Way of Greater Fall River’s Food Insecurity Foundation and $1,000 each to 13 other hunger-fighting nonprofits in Fall River, New Bedford and on Cape Cod.

Brookline Bank

Brookline Bank announced it had collected 2,850 toys for children as part of the U.S. Marines’ annual Toys for Tots campaign. The toys were donated by bank clients, staff and members of communities that host the bank’s 29 offices.

Clinton Savings Bank

Clinton Savings Bank donated $1,500 to Animal Adventures, in Bolton, for the fourth year in a row. The exotic animal rescue’s mission is to provide a home to unwanted and unable to be cared for animals

North Brookfield Savings Bank 

North Brookfield Savings Bank said it collected “hundreds” of toys and “hundreds of dollars” as part of its annual toy drive to benefit local families in need. . In addition, North Brookfield Savings Bank donated $1,500 to unspecified local toy donation programs.

North Shore Bank

North Shore Bank gave $25,000 to Citizens Inn, part of a $100,000, four-year commitment. Citizens Inn, a nonprofit focused on fighting homelessness and hunger on the North Shore, is aiming to raise money for capital improvements, expanded programs to meet its growing client base and to increase the depth of services that it provides.
