Bristol County Savings Bank

Bristol County Savings Bank recently presented a $10,000 grant to the Boys & Girls Club of Taunton, Inc. through its charitable foundation. The bank also presented a $5,000 grant to Old Colony Habitat for Humanity.

 

ERA Key Realty Services

Worcester-based ERA Key Realty Services recently donated $500 to the Central Massachusetts Lyme Foundation, which helps those battling Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses.

 

Girls’ LEAP

Girls’ LEAP will honor three Boston women leaders at its annual gala – Deborah Goldberg, Massachusetts treasurer; Geeta Aiyer, Boston Common Asset Management founder and president; and Philomena Asante MD, MPH Boston Public Health Commission. Funds raised at this event will support the organization’s mission of empowering girls and young women to value their safety and well-being.

 

Homefield Credit Union

This winter, Homefield Credit Union partnered with the Cooperative Credit Union Association to hold a blanket and cold weather clothing drive to aid the needy throughout the state.

 

Leominster Credit Union

Leominster Credit Union donated over 65 new blankets and 110 pieces of warm clothing to area homeless shelters and charities as part of the Cooperative Credit Union Association.

 

MutualOne Bank

MutualOne Bank ‘s charitable foundation recently distributed a $2,000 to the First Baptist Church in Framingham to support its Happy Birthday, Baby initiative which distributes gift baskets of baby essentials to new mothers in need. The foundation also distributed a $5,000 grant to the Reed Academy in Framingham, which provides therapeutic and educational services for Metrowest area special needs students.

 

North Brookfield Savings Bank

North Brookfield Savings Bank recently donated $500 to Angels & Backpacks, a program dedicated to providing low-income children with food each weekend. The bank also donated $250 worth of items to the Hearts for Head Start program, a branch of the HCS Head Start Inc. classroom in Palmer, dedicated to providing education and support for children from low-income families.

 

North Shore Bank

North Shore Bank sponsored Peabody elementary schools’ essay contest and provided savings accounts of $100 for the first place winner, $50 for the second place winner and $25 for the third place winner.
