Bridgewater Savings Bank

Bridgewater Savings Bank’s charitable foundation recently donated $5,000 to Project Contemporary Competitiveness, which provides a six-week residential summer program to ninth, 10th and 11th grade students. The students engage in intellectually stimulating and socially stimulating activities in a friendly and supportive environment.

 

Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank

The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank recently donated $8,000, through its foundation, to the Massachusetts Cultural Council to help fund the cost of transportation to nonprofit cultural institutions, such as art and science museums, for students in grades K-12 on the Cape, Islands and Southeastern Massachusetts.

 

Dedham Institution for Savings

The Dedham Institution for Savings Foundation announced that it donated $20,000 to Hale Reservation in 2015 and has also committed to two additional $20,000 grants in 2016 and 2017.

Berkshire Bank recently announced it has contributed $225,895 to local United Way organizations as part of its 2016 workplace campaign.

 

ERA Key Realty Services

ERA Key Realty Services in Worcester recently donated $500 to Friendly House, an organization that provides services to inner-city families.

 

GFA Federal Credit Union

GFA Federal Credit Union recently announced it will participate in the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston Equity Builder Program. The Equity Builder Program provides eligible homebuyers with up to $15,000 in down payment assistance and closing cost funds. In addition, GFA Federal Credit Union will provide each program participant with an additional $350 off closing costs.

 

MutualOne Bank

MutualOne Bank recently awarded $3,800 to the Framingham Public Library.

 

Naveo Credit Union

Naveo Credit Union is offering cash grants to eligible local first time homebuyers through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston’s Equity Builder Program (EBP). The EBP program grants up to $11,000 to eligible buyers on a first-come, first-serve basis.
