Berkshire Bank
Berkshire Bank, a division of Boston-based Beacon Bank & Trust, announced it’s given out $400,000 to 96 nonprofits across its footprint in Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Vermont during the third quarter.
Fidelity Bank
Leominster-based Fidelity Bank announced it gave $15,000 to three local nonprofits “focused on food insecurity, personal hygiene and veterans outreach programs and services”: Needham-based Hope and Comfort, Clinton’s annual PFC Keely Walsh Ride for Veterans and Leominster’s Spanish American Center.
MountainOne Bank
North Adams-based MountainOne Bank announced it distributed $234,000 in donations and sponsorships during the first half of 2025 to 14 nonprofits in the Berkshires, the Pioneer Valley and on the South Shore.
The bank also announced a gift of 92 boxes of cereal to the Pittsfield Food Pantry as part of the latter’s annual cereal drive. The number was chosen to reflect Pittsfield Community Food Pantry President Mary Wheat’s 92nd birthday.
Suffolk Construction
Boston-based Suffolk Construction said employees working at the construction site for pharmaceutical company Takeda’s new headquarters building in Kendall Square, at 585 Third St., volunteered along with Takeda employees at a Charles River Conservancy event cleaning up the banks of the Charles River. A photo released by Suffolk showed 34 Suffolk and Takeda employees taking part.
