The Arbella Insurance Foundation recently raised more than $27,000 as a participant and was a major sponsor of Project Bread’s annual Walk for Hunger.

Charles River Bank has announced it will sponsor the town of Bellingham’s July 4th celebration.

Clinton Savings Bank employees donated money to “dress down” for a day, raising over $340 to present to The Item Appeal, a Central Massachusetts-based charity that helps community members in need.

Country Bank recently sponsored a Credit for Life Fair at Ware High School as a financial literacy exercise to teach students how to manage their money.

 

Dutch Point Credit Union

Dutch Point Credit Union has announced it will hold a community shred day on June 18 during which it will accept donations for Journey Home of Hartford.

 

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union recently raised more than $12,000 in support of Lowell General Hospital’s TeamWalk for Cancer Care. The funds will go toward Lowell General Hospital’s Cancer Care Center pay for medication, nutritional supplements, nursing visits and other services.

 

Middlesex Federal Savings

Middlesex Federal Savings recently donated 125 books to the Somerville Public Library.

 

MutualOne

MutualOne Charitable Foundation trustee, announced that the Foundation has awarded $2,500 to the Heritage Chorale to support their Pops Concert, titled Escaping the Winter Blues.

 

Needham Bank

Needham Bank recently announced it has joined Adidas, Marriott, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Roche Brothers/Sudbury Farms and J.C. Timmerman as a sponsor of this year’s Needham Memorial Day Tournament – Invitational and GPS College Showcase to be held over the Memorial Day Weekend.

 

Northern Bank & Trust

The Northern Bank & Trust Charitable Foundation has awarded $12,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell in support of two programs to provide safe, affordable housing for families in need.

 

North Brookfield Savings Bank

North Brookfield Savings Bank awarded a $100 gift certificate to Jim Nykiel, of North Brookfield, for being the April winner of the bank’s “Where It’s At” Hat Contest.

 

Webster Five

The Webster Five Foundation recently donated $2,500 to the Center for Women & Enterprise as part of its Web of Caring to Make a Difference program. The funds will support the continued operations of the Central Massachusetts office.
