Middlesex Savings Bank
Middlesex Savings Bank’s charitable foundation donated $345,272 to 24 nonprofits in Eastern and Central Massachusetts.
MutualOne Bank
MutualOne Bank’s charitable foundation awarded a $3,500 grant to the Ashland Education Foundation Inc. to help meet state technology literacy standards at the middle school level.
North Shore Bank
North Shore Bank donated $1,600 to the Haven from Hunger in Peabody. Bank employees raised the proceeds by paying $5 each week to wear jeans to work.
Pawtucket Credit Union
Pawtucket Credit Union awarded $32,000 in scholarships to area high school students pursuing higher education. Recipients will each receive $2,000 a year for the next four years.
People’s United Bank
The People’s United Community Foundation awarded $116,000 in grants to 22 nonprofitsin Massachusetts, during its second grant cycle of 2015. The organizations received funding in support of activities ranging from financial literacy to basic needs, job training and after-school programs.

Quincy Credit Union partnered with the Braintree Chamber of Commerce and other local businesses to sponsor Braintree’s third annual Pizza Palooza. The event raised more than $11,000 for the annual Braintree fireworks celebration, marking the largest donation to date.

South Shore Bank donated $2,000 toward the 2015 4th of July fireworks celebration held on July 3at George Lane Beach in Weymouth.
