Belmont Savings Bank Foundation announced it will provide a multiyear grant to the West Suburban YMCA for the organization’s Family Strengthening Initiative. The funds will enable more support for the YMCA’s preschool and early education program.
Cambridge Community Banks
Cambridge Savings Bank, Cambridge Trust Co. and East Cambridge Savings Bank joined together to support the victims of the 10-alarm fire that destroyed at least 11 buildings and displaced 48 families (125 individuals), on Dec 3. The banks donated a combined $15,000 to the mayor’s Fire Relief Fund.

As the winner of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union’s recent promotion, member Linda Sunderland was awarded a $1,000 prize and $1,000 to donate to a nonprofit of her choice. Sunderland selected House of Hope, and in return received a room in House of Hope’s newest location named after her late mother.

Leominster Credit Union donated a variety of household goods to Armistice Homestead in Leominster in honor of Veterans Day.
