The owner of a downtown Worcester building mired in controversy is looking for a developer to partner on a project on the site.

The Midtown Mall, a 74,149-square-foot building featuring small retail spaces facing Worcester Common and City Hall had been the target of eminent domain threats from the Worcester Redevelopment Authority in April until its owner sold the building for $4 million to a prominent local landlord.

According to the Worcester Business Journal, new owner Felicio Lana, has spent over $200,000 rehabbing the structure and is looking for a development partner for the site.
