Echelon Seaport condo lobby

Developer Cottonwood Management has selected Jeffrey Beers International as interior designer for 50,000 square feet of lobbies and common areas at 133 and 135 Seaport Blvd., a pair of luxury condo towers in the $900 million EchelonSeaport project.

It’s the first New England project for the New York designer, whose work includes interiors at the InterContinental Times Square hotel and Fontainebleau Resort in Miami, lobby and amenity spaces of One Hundred Barclay in New York and Dune by Jean-Georges Vongerichten in the Bahamas.

Resident amenities in the 447-unit EchelonSeaport condo towers will include two pool terraces, an indoor basketball court, indoor pool, golf simulator, wine room, library, children’s playroom and sky lounges. Connected by a pedestrian bridge, the buildings are scheduled for completion in 2019. Beers also will design interiors in a 270-unit apartment tower scheduled for completion in 2020.

Cottonwood Management broke ground in June 2017 on the 1.3-million-square-foot development after acquiring the 3.5-acre site from Seaport Square master developer Boston Global Investors for $120 million in November 2015. The project also includes 125,000 square feet of retail.
