A new luxury residential high-rise in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood has lined up a tenant for half of its retail space.
Euromarket Designs Inc., the parent of the Crate & Barrel and CB2 home furnishings chains, signed a 10-year lease for 10,441 square feet at Pierce Boston, Samuels & Assoc.’s 406,000-square-foot tower containing 109 condominiums and 240 apartments.
Northbrook, Illinois-based Euromarket operates more than 100 Crate & Barrel stores in the U.S. and Canada, including one other Boston store at 777 Boylston St. A Samuels & Assoc. spokeswoman referred comment to Euromarket, which was not immediately available for comment.
Built at a former service station property overlooking Audubon Circle, Pierce Boston has sold all but nine condos in the 30-story tower at an average price of $1,500 per square foot, Samuels COO Leslie Cohen told Banker & Tradesman last month.
