In the latest in a series of high-level personnel moves among Boston brokerages, two CBRE capital markets executives have joined Cushman & Wakefield’s capital markets team.

David Pergola and Brian Doherty, who have transacted a combined $8 billion in sales, were appointed executive managing directors. Both specialize in office, industrial, retail and mixed-use properties, and will join the existing Cushman & Wakefield team that includes Peter Joseph, Brian Barnett, Steffen Panzone and Tom Sullivan.

Before joining CBRE, Pergola and Doherty worked in Cushman & Wakefield’s capital markets team.

“As consistent in other markets where we are committed to bring on the best talent available, David and Brian’s arrival will increase our team’s depth and capabilities to more effectively compete and grow market share across product types,” Joseph said in a statement.

CBRE’s merger with Transwestern’s Boston office last year has been followed by a series of moves by brokers to other firms, including Cushman & Wakefield and Avison Young.
