Nuance Communications has signed a 12-year lease renewal for its East Coast headquarters at 1 Wayside Drive in Burlington.

The software company, which created the Dragon speech recognition application, occupies the entire building owned by Chambers Street Properties of Princeton, New Jersey.

Transwestern│RBJ’s Jon Varholak, Ron Friedman, John Lashar and Brian McKenzie represented the owner, Chambers Street Properties, in the transaction. Nuance was represented by Michael Morris and Drew Nelson of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.
