Alcoholic beverage delivery app Drizly is expanding in Back Bay with a 30,665 lease at 501 Boylston St.

The third-floor space features open floor plans and unassigned desks, according to JLL which represented the sublessor, Aquent.

After a huge uptick in sublease offerings during the first nine months of the pandemic, activity has slowed in 2021, according to JLL research, as companies prepare to reoccupy office space.

“The notion of how space will be used continues to evolve but its undeniable that the office environment will remain critical for collaboration, team building and mentorship, all important factors for an innovative, growing company like Drizly.” said JLL Managing Director, Bryan Sparkes said in a statement.

T3 Advisors represented Drizly, which is headquartered at 334 Boylston St., in the transaction.

Drizly is in the process of being acquired by ride-hailing and food-deliver firm Uber.
