Eagle Air Freight has purchased an air-freight warehouse near Boston’s Logan Airport for $4 million.

The building at 150 Eastern Ave. in Chelsea consists of 30,000 square feet of office space and 30,000 square feet of warehouse space.

The seller was Prologis. Phillip Burgess and Stephen Nohrden of Burgess Properties brokered the transaction.

“After a decade of decline, the recent resurgence in area manufacturing has marked the beginning of what we hope will be a strong and lasting recovery in the air-freight market in Boston,” Burgess said in a statement. “As the primary trucking company serving Boston’s air-freight community, it made sense for Eagle Air-Freight to step up and purchase the property at this time.”
