Ellen Evensen, formerly affiliated with Jack Conway in Marshfield, has joined the Duxbury office of William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance as a sales associate.

Evensen entered the business in the mid-1980s, and has particular expertise in the areas of new construction, land and residential real estate throughout the South Shore, Raveis said in a statement. From 2006 to 2008, she served as project manager of The Seasons, an active adult community in Marshfield.

Ellen is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, and the Plymouth and South Shore Association of Realtors, where she serves on the networking committee. Evensen recently earned the "At Home with Diversity" certification from the National Association of Realtors, after completing a course to help develop new skills for working with homebuyers and sellers of all backgrounds. The course addresses issues of diversity, fair housing and cultural differences.
