Fairhaven-based First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union has opened a new branch in Hanover.

First Citizens’ 12th full-service branch and first in Hanover is located at 1095 Washington St. It features a modern open concept to review finances and open accounts as well as a separate lending space and a pod-style teller line. The new branch also offers a “Talk2Me” interactive teller machine (ITM) and 24-hour drive-up ATM.

Hanover has eight team members, including Giselle Crowell, mortgage originator for Plymouth County; Michael Litzenburger, vice president and commercial loan officer for Norfolk and Plymouth counties; and Brian Lawless, sales and service manager for Hanover.

“The opening of the Hanover location is a reflection of the credit union’s strong business growth and ongoing commitment to providing members with quality banking products and first-class customer service,” Peter Muise, president and CEO of First Citizens’, said in a statement. “We look forward to being a member of the Hanover community and getting to know and serve more of our South Shore neighbors.”

The branch opened on Dec. 30, with a ribbon-cutting scheduled for Jan. 22, at 8:30 a.m. The public is also invited to attend the ribbon-cutting and tour the new branch, which will be offering money market, term certificate, and new checking accounts specials throughout the week.

Branch hours are Monday through Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The ITM hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union assets over $750 million, with full-service offices in New Bedford, Raynham, Taunton, Mattapoisett, Wareham, Falmouth, Mashpee, Hyannis, Hanover and Orleans, and a lending office in Plymouth.
