Michele Fitzpatrick has been named as StonehamBank’s business development specialist.

She previously worked with Woburn’s Sovereign Bank in business banking. In April 2009, Fitzpatrick joined StonehamBank as a personal banker and transitioned to a business banker soon after. Her knowledge and past experience have led into her new role as business development specialist, according to a statement.

In her new role, Fitzpatrick will focus on establishing and maintaining relationships with businesses and civic organizations within the community. She will continue to reach out to business owners to assess needs and offer full service solutions, including cash management, merchant services, lending and general deposit support, a statement said.
