Members of the Worcester Anti Foreclosure Team (WAFT) say they intend to file a brief in the Appeals Court alleging systematic denial of copies of audio recordings by the Worcester Housing Court today.

In a statement, protesters said they will gather near the Worcester Courthouse at 225 Main St. this morning to protest their treatment by the judges and clerk of the Worcester Housing Court, then travel to the Supreme Judicial Court in Boston this afternoon to deliver the petition.

“WAFT members are being repeatedly and flagrantly denied the CDs (audio recordings) from their hearings which they have a right to by law,” organizer Lori Cairns said in a statement. “These are the only official records of the hearings. Without them, their ability to defend themselves and appeal rulings from this court is crippled.”
