Teresa "Tess" Cunha has joined The First National Bank of Ipswich’s (FNBI) retail banking team as branch administrator, working out of the bank’s 31 Market Street office in Ipswich.

Cunha will be working with the bank’s branch managers to attain performance objectives for branch business volume, deposits, loans and brokerage services, according to a statement. First National Bank of Ipswich operates six banking offices in in Gloucester, Ipswich, Rowley, Newburyport, Essex and Boston.

Cunha came to FNBI from Danversbank, where she held the position of vice president, retail sales manager. She previously held the position of assistant vice president, branch officer at Medford Bank.

"We are pleased to have Tess join our team," said Gayle Fili, FNBI senior vice president and head of its retail banking division.  "We are fortunate to have someone with her depth of experience and enthusiasm; a proven record of achieving results and contributing to a Bank’s growth and success."
