A former insurance company headquarters overlooking Route 128 attracted an office and R&D lease from an industrial sensor manufacturer.

Sick Inc., a manufacturer of sensors for industrial applications, will relocate from Stoughton to 150 Royall St. in Canton after leasing 31,569 square feet.

Along with office space, the new headquarters will include R&D space, according to Cushman & Wakefield, which brokered the lease transaction.

The building was completed in 1985 and is the OneBeacon insurer’s former headquarters. Boston-based Jumbo Capital and Boston Andes Capital acquired the property in 2015 for $58 million.

Cushman & Wakefield’s George O’Connor represented the tenant in the lease transaction, while Cushman & Wakefield’s Pete Whoriskey and Rachel Igoe represented ownership.

The building includes a cafeteria, conference center and fitness center.

“While the office market has faced turbulence over the past few years, we continue to see leasing activity in highly amenitized, Class A buildings in the Greater Boston arena,” Whoriskey said in a statement.
