Molly SullivanCommercial property manager Molly Sullivan and real estate broker Ned Havern have joined the Boston office of commercial real estate firm Avison Young.

Effective immediately, Sullivan will serve as senior property manager for the Boston office, overseeing 630,000 square feet of commercial property currently under management. Havern joins as an associate on the suburban Boston brokerage team led by Jack Kerrigan and Steve Cook.

"Molly brings over 15 years of property management experience with an excellent track record of building and maintaining strong working relationships with tenants and owners alike. She will be pivotal as we continue to expand our Boston operations; and so, too, will Ned. Ned’s qualifications and work ethic make him a great fit for our firm’s culture and vision."

Sullivan comes to Avison Young from New Boston Fund Inc. where she spent the last 13 years managing a commercial real estate portfolio up to 900,000 square feet that included industrial, office, retail and residential space.

Havern entered the commercial real estate industry after concluding his professional hockey career. He Ned Havernwas chosen by the Dallas Stars in the 2002 National Hockey League draft and played in the American Hockey League until June 2008. Havern holds a degree in communications from Boston College and was a member of the 2005 Hockey East championship team. He was also named a member of the Hockey East All-Academic team in all four of his collegiate seasons.
