FoxRock Properties’ has begun marketing the second new building in its Quincy Medical Center campus redevelopment in anticipation of a mid-September opening date.
The 132-unit Skyline building, located on the northwest corner of the site and offering views of downtown Boston, currently lists rents starting at $2,100 for 500-foot studios.
Median apartment rents in Quincy average $1,885 for one-bedroom units and $2,383 for two-bedroom units, according to a recent report by Apartment List.
FoxRock received $129 million in construction financing for the overall project, which will be managed by Bozzuto. Upon completion, it will encompass 465 apartments in four new buildings and an adaptive reuse of the former administration building.
Managed by Bozzuto, the project at 100 Whitwell St. will include such amenities as a multi-level pool deck, roof deck and bocce court.
The Skyline is the second residential building to begin preleasing at the complex, following the 65-unit Harbor Building. Two additional buildings are scheduled for completion in late 2023 and early 2024.
