Rebecca Frisch, an adviser to former Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, was named vice president and northern coordinator of state and local government relations at TD Bank in Boston.

She is responsible for managing state and local government relations for TD Bank throughout New England.

Frisch has 10 years of combined experience in government and banking. Prior to joining TD Bank, she served as senior advisor to Menino, where she managed One Fund Boston. Before that, Frisch served as an associate at Promontory Financial Group in Washington, D.C., and a presidential management fellow at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
