Engineering firm Geosyntec Consultings Inc. has leased 14,700 square feet at Strawberry Hill Corporate Center in Acton for an expansion of its local offices.

The company will relocate to the second floor of the office building at 289 Great Road to accommodate growth.

Avison Young’s Jack Kerrigan, Bill Sullivan and Anne Flanagan worked with landlord Campanelli’s leasing manager Danielle Simbliaris on the transaction. Avison Young Principal Steve Cook represented Geosyntec.

Campanelli acquired Strawberry Hill in February 2014 and has renovated the property and added a new fitness center, upgraded common spaces and added WorkBox, consisting of 11 private furnished offices available for lease.

“The commitment ownership has made to the building, including the improvements made in recent months, solidified our decision to stay,” Doug Larson, a principal engineer of Geosyntec, said in a statement.
