Christopher Haraden has been named director of agent services at Jack Conway Realtor.
Haraden will oversee and implement education, recruitment and training at the 54-year-old real estate firm. Haraden left his post as managing editor of the Hull Times to return to the Jack Conway organization where he had served as public relations director from 1998-2006.
"I’m excited to come home to Conway Country where you really do feel like part of a big family," said Haraden, who is a former reporter for Banker & Tradesman and managing editor for Boston Homes Magazine and the Community Newspaper Co. "For decades, Jack Conway’s education program has been recognized as the industry’s leader. My No. 1 goal is to continue that legacy of service to our sales associates so they have the tools they need to succeed in today’s marketplace."
Conway CEO Carol Bulman said she is eager to work with Haraden as he creates and implements new training programs for her 700 sales agents and managers.
"I’ve worked with Chris before and I know how amazingly talented he is," said Bulman. "He has a wonderful way with people, he’s an excellent teacher, and a master of the written word. We are so excited to have him aboard."
As director of agent services at Conway, Haraden will add to the current curriculum by creating on-line programs and webinars for training to enable agents to maximize the potential of the company’s "virtual office." He will enhance the firm’s recruitment and retention efforts, expand new agent and manager enrichment programs, and devise and implement staff development initiatives companywide.
Chairman Jack Conway is happy to welcome Haraden back to the Conway Country fold. "I’m thrilled to have Chris return to us in this new role," said Conway. "He was named the most valuable employee of the year twice when he was our PR director, and I know he will be a huge success as director of agent services."
