HarborOne Bank this week named Joseph F. Casey its chief operating officer.
Casey’s appointment was effective March 1. Casey also holds the titles of executive vice president and CFO. As COO, he will focus on deposit and loan operations, as well as business development.
“We’re thrilled to have Joe bringing his expertise to the role of chief operating officer,” President and CEO James Blake said in a statement. “Joe has been an integral part of our growth and success over the last decade, and we look forward to having his leadership as he takes on this new position and additional responsibility in order to continue to provide high-quality service to our customers.”
Casey joined HarborOne in 2004 as CFO and became executive vice president two years later. Before joining HarborOne he worked for two years as CFO for Compass Bank for Savings in New Bedford. Casey also held multiple roles over 16 years at Andover Bancorp, including CFO and treasurer.
Casey has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bentley University and was a Certified Public Accountant. He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Program for Management Development as well as the American Bankers Association Graduate School of Bank Investments.
