Brockton-based HarborOne Bank opened its latest branch this week, in downtown Quincy.

The 1 Chestnut Place branch is the bank’s third to open in the last two years and its first in Quincy. The bank now has a footprint that runs from Boston through southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

The branch will offer both retail and consumer banking and lending services, plus small business and commercial banking and lending products and services.

“This is a major milestone in the strategic growth of HarborOne Bank, and we are extremely excited to start working with Quincy businesses, families and individuals,” HarborOne CEO James Blake said in a statement. “Our growth strategy is focused on cities and towns where our team-based relationship banking model adds real value for consumers and businesses– and Quincy is the perfect fit.”

To celebrate the occasion, HarborOne will donate $5,000 each to Father Bill’s & MainSpring and Interfaith Social Services, two organizations that serve Quincy and with which HarborOne has had a long-standing relationship.
