The Warren Group is pleased and proud to bring our readers a new and improved bankerandtradesman.com. Mobile-responsive and user-friendly, the new site combines all the breaking finance and real estate stories our readers expect with innovative new features and displays.
Of particular note is the real estate records section, which has undergone a complete overhaul. Though the records are still available as PDFs, they are also available in a variety of interactive breakdowns, all the way to the level of a specific town in a specific week, for the last six years. Recent sale comp data (going back to 2014) is searchable by a number of characteristics, including address, sale price, month sold and property type.
Other new features include a media page, where you can find our most recent slideshows and videos, as well podcasts from CEO Tim Warren and I about the latest developments in the housing market. This month’s podcast covers the July statistics – as residential real estate reporter Jim Morrison wrote last week, it was the best month for sales in 10 years.
The blogs have come along with us – check the bottom of the page for the latest insights from Morrison, banking and finance reporter Laura Alix, commercial real estate reporter Steve Adams and our illustrious columnist, Scott Van Voorhis.
Breaking news is on the homepage, print stories are on the This Week’s Paper page, and our most popular features, including the op-ed articles and the In Person, are available from the Industry News drop-down menu. Select formerly print-only features, like the top 10 home sales by county, the top county-wide lenders and statewide statistics can be found on the new By the Numbers page.
There are new ways to get in touch with us, too – from the contact page you can reach out directly to me, the director of business media and the customer service department, even the president and the CEO.
Readers are already responding to the new site with delight. We’ve heard that it’s much more navigable, easier to read and easier to find what you’re looking for. So come check it out! There’s a lot to see and do on the new bankerandtradesman.com, and we look forward to sharing it with you.
Like all new ventures, we’re still working on the finer details. If something looks strange or doesn’t work for you, please contact us at subscriptions@thewarrengroup.com. We value our readers and their interactions with The Warren Group and Banker & Tradesman; if we can improve your experience in any way, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
