HomeGoods has scheduled opening dates in the next month for two Massachusetts stores and signed a lease for a new store at 1265 Main St. in Waltham.

The TJX-owned brand will open new stores on Thursday at Cranberry Crossing on Plymouth’s Commerce Way and on Sept. 29 at Gloucester Crossing.

In addition, the home furnishings specialist leased 25,000 square feet at 1265 Main St., according to a Middlesex County Registry of Deeds filing. The store is scheduled to open in late 2020 in a new building at the Waltham mixed-use development.

Sales at U.S.-based HomeGoods stores totaled $1.42 billion in the second quarter, with flat comparable store sales, TJX Cos. reported this month. The division operated 783 stores as of Aug. 3.

Full year sales at HomeGoods are expected to increase 1 percent to $6.3 billion, TJX executives said in a conference call this month to discuss second-quarter earnings.
