  • Boston-based developer btCRE has completed the conversion of 179 Bear Hill Road into a modern, flexible workplace for office, lab, R&D and light industrial users. 
  • The firm acquired the 39,000-square-foot industrial building in January 2017 when it was 35 percent vacant. The project lent itself to creative office space because of its high ceilings, open floorplates and large windows. Improvements included a new entrance, facade and outdoor seating, a tenant lounge, private phone booths and shared kitchen. 
  • True Spec Golf, Spectra Wave and Sounds Good Corp. signed leases in the building, which currently has 6,800 square feet available. Cushman & Wakefield represents ownership in leasing.
