Calare Properties signed a full-building tenant to occupy its newest property acquisition, an 80,000-square-foot office building in Foxborough. 

Industrial automation company NECI will relocate its headquarters to 325 Foxborough Blvd., a 2-story office building acquired by Calare in November for $7.9 million. The company’s current headquarters are located at 9 Oxford Road in Mansfield. 

NECI’s new headquarters will accommodate 400 employees, Calare announced. NECI will redesign the interior for its long-term requirements, and Calare plans a series of capital improvements to the building, including a new roof and upgrades to the HVAC system and parking areas. 

Originally completed in 2000, 325 Foxborough Blvd. includes a fitness center, locker rooms, full-service cafeteria and open floor plates. The site has expansion potential for another 40,000 square feet of space.
