Upon its completion in early 2025, Brookley Flats will become the largest affordable home ownership project completed in Boston to date.
The 45-unit condominium development includes five live-work artist studios on a former industrial parcel located at 10 Stonley St. in Jamaica Plain.
The project team includes owners Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corp. and Causeway Development, architect JGE Architecture & Design and contractor Haycon Inc. The 38,000-square-foot building was built to Passive House standards and includes a stacker parking system.
The project received funding from the Mayor’s Office of Housing, Community Preservation Act, MassHousing, the state Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Property and Casualty Initiative and the Life Initiative and Mass Save incentives.
