What: Goulston & Storrs Boston offices
Where: One Post Office Square, Boston
Owner: Morgan Stanley
Built: 1982

Approximately 350 employees at law firm Goulston & Storrs are settling into their new Boston offices at One Post Office Square following the firm’s first relocation since 1985.

The firm occupies 100,000 square feet on the 25th through 28th floors at the recently remodeled 41-story office tower in the Financial District.

After nearly four decades at 400 Atlantic Ave., the 124-year-old law firm chose the new location for a flexible, “future-proof” workspace that includes shared social spaces, tech-enabled meeting areas and an outdoor terrace for employees and client events. Elkus Manfredi Architects designed the new offices for flexibility and room for expansion.

They Said It:

“In this post-pandemic, hybrid working world, making offices relevant again means thinking beyond the desk. Workplace strategy and design must be about building community and using space to foster creativity, mentoring, learning, and growth.”
— Michelle Porter, co-managing director, Goulston & Storrs
